300x250 Could I have had a panic attack?

I was under an extreme amount of stress lately. (I’m not in the nature of it but to go.) I went to my house the other night and sat on the sofa. I started crying uncontrollably. I was shaking pretty bad and I could not keep up. It was difficult for me, my breathing stops. I want a second fire, and then freezing the next. I felt a tightness in the chest, and my head began badly. I felt like I was about to lose it. It took quiet a long time for me. After that, he felt as if I really crashed mauvais.Je know that Yahoo! Answers is no substitute for real medical treatment or something like that. With, what I’ve studied, I think I had a stroke, but I just want some different opinions. It really scared me. I just want to know what others think of him.

I have the same problem as you. If I get nervous enough, I start to freak out and start to breathe heavily and then my arms and legs get very numb. Here is what you can do to treat this problem, go to the doctor and get prescribed tranquilizers like buspar or xanax. Trust me, It will help you tremendously.

    sounds like one to me
the best thing to do when having one is to try to lie in a quiet dark place and concentrate on your breathing.
try to get rid of some of the stress your under…if u can’t so see your doc and ask for meds to help with the attacks…that was just the first one…if stress is not eliminated there will be more

I am sorry to hear about your stress. You need to see if you or your family has had any history of heart problems or problems with depression. Also, It can be allergies or general breathing problems. I really think that you had a panic attack if they continue you should see a doctor to prescribe a anti depressant or an anti anxiety pill to calm you down . These pills will help you handle daily stresses better. I hope that you feel better and get treatment for your condition.

it sounds like you suffer from anxiety attacks. You should go to your doctor and let him perscribe you somethin for this. I had the same problem and now i take Lexapro. It works great and it doesn’t make you sleepy like some of the other meds.

Hey,A.A. How are you doing today? My name is David and it’s an honor to meet you. Yes,I know this site is no substitute for real medical treatment. But,At least we won’t charge you an arm and a leg for our help. May I ask if you are single,My dear? I’m sorry if I am sounding too forward. Wondering if there is someone around to help take care of you. It could be stress-related. Do you take anything for the headache or the tightness in your chest? Sometimes our emotions can get the best of us. Something happening in our lives that we can’t do anything about. What you need to do is to relax in a nice hot soothing tub of water. Do you drink tea? Or maybe some wine to help calm you down. Of course you will crash like that because your mind and your body is just running ragged. I hope I spelled that correctly. If not,My bad. There are meds you can take for this problem. But if I could make a suggestion,Don’t use any drugs. You don’t want to have to depend on these pills. I believe you are a strong-willed woman. And you can conquer and overcome any obstacle life hands to you. If not,You can always lean on someone for help. Someone like me. I’ll say some prayers for you. You sound like a sweet woman. I’d like to see you get feeling better. I hope my answer cheers you up somewhat. If not,I’d like to try again. :) You have yourself a wonderful day. Take it easy,A.A. Bye for now.

Maybe you could call it that. Many things on the list someone posted before me sounded very familiar to me and maybe similar to what you’ve felt? I’ve had this problem for much of my life. Sometimes I’d suddenly feel weird and panicked though no threat was in the room. Twice I sort of recall backing up in a corner to hide from the bad memories as I was talking to my fiance. I was sort of babbling, hyperventilating and collapsed in some order. Sometimes it felt like I was going to die, I couldn’t breathe. I cannot explain the way my head felt. The most terrible thing was the sound of how worried my fiance was, I never want him to see that again. A few years later at work, I couldn’t take the weight of my tasks, the social interaction, the stress of working with a few highly demanding and stressed-out people. I was shaking and knew something was coming on. I think I asked if I could take a break and I fled to the bathroom and just broke down and had to fight to stay calm. I couldn’t get over it for a while. Sorry for the long examples, I wondered if you could relate. But I think something can be done. I wish I went to see a doctor, it may have helped me through those times if I could have been given something, or if I found some method to help me deal with the stress better. Please do something to try and help yourself if things don’t improve.

There are 2 programs out there that are famous for treating Panic Attacks and Anxiety successfully.
They are: Panic Away and The Linden Method.

You may wonder, “Which one is better?” Don’t worry, you’re not the only one with that question.

The Panic Away program is more appropriate for people who can cope with their Panic Attacks or Anxiety well.
Linden Method is more for those who aren’t really good in coping their Panic Attacks or Anxiety well.

Check out the reference for the full comparison.
