Is this a panic attack or a seizure?

I suffered from these attacks for some time, but usually they can control pretty well with my breathing, but this morning I felt myself in an attack and before I even had the chance to think about my breathing, I am totally in the hands lost consciousness. I’ve never had a crisis so serious! When I came back to me, I was lying on the floor and have a minor adjustment and I also have a bit my tongue really bad. Is this a worst case of a panic attack, or could it be otherwise? During the blackout, I knew what was going on around me, but could do nothing. I fell forward onto the floor and hurt myself really quite mal.Well that’s the thing I’m going, in fact, the children must be collected in the afternoon SA I used to often get panick attacks due to abuse of marijuana, but they have the stopped smoking and I have not had an attack for a while until today, what est.Je I felt good after his arrival, with the exception of the tongue and bleeding bumps on the head. Do not feel too Dizy.

I would make an appointment to see a physician. It could be both really. My brother-in-law had a seizure disorder, and that sounds like what he did. I think it could also be a panic attack, but I would still see a doctor about it, especially if you have been doing this for a while.
i would assume these are seizures but you should really go see a doctor and you might also want to keep yourself from driving if you do.
I think you should see a doctor immediately!
Are you okay?
And it’s a seizure, really, go to a doctor.
Hope this helps!!!
My vote is strongly for panic attack. Some people can work themselves up into quite a fit, especially when they hyperventilate (which is what it sounds like you’re doing). Anyone ever witnessed you do this? After you “come to”, do your hands and toes/legs feel very stiff and crampy? Are you dizzy?
You had a mild seizure. More severe seizures cause a temporary loss of short term memory.
Hi. My sister was just diagnosed with seizures after going through the exact same thing. They thought at first they were mini-strokes but after all kinds of tests, (none painful) they discovered she was having seizures. One of the doctors in the emergency room told her she was having anxiety attacks. But the other 4 doctors trying to diagnose her ruled it out right away. She is on 2 different medications and feels a bit tired right now but she’s been told that will go away once her body gets used to the drugs. She is doing much better and has had only very light episodes now and only one to two a day.
All the best to you. I hope you will get to a doctor.
Blessings
I thought I should add, she did black out the first time, she was getting numbness in her hands, she feels much heat in the numb areas and when she has an episode she is completely awake and aware of what’s going on.
If similar never occurred previously, it was probably a seizure. I hope you are avoiding artificial sweeteners, and taking 4 omega 3 fish oil supplements, or krill oil, daily, with an antioxidant. Consult a doctor, urgently. Consider what if it happens again, when your children are with you when driving.
Please Please go today to a doctor you never know what has happened sounds like a seizure But please see a doctor today!!!.
Whether it was panic or seizure you should make an appointment with your doctor. Leaving physical problems unattended could lead to a more dangerous situation. Today you are worried about picking up the kids, that alone should be a significant warning.
If you are bent on self diagnosing I would suggest you start a regular program of low impact aerobics, at a minimum of two times a week. Something that would get your blood pressure up slowly for about 45 minutes.
If the problem is stress the exercise would be helpful, and exercise would help your overall physical condition if you keep at it. Good Luck.
Could you be pregnant?
Linda,
By ‘minor fit’–do you mean ‘involuntary movements?’ It sounds like a seizure to me, especially since you also mentioned ‘biting your tongue.’
You also mentioned that you ‘feel’ these attacks coming on. That sounds like an ‘aura’ to md, something that commonly occurs in people who have seizures (although people who have migraines often have auras too–in my case, I see bright dots). An aura simply means something specific happens preceding an event that lets you know the event is about to happen. A seizure aura could even involve an odd taste in your mouth, or smelling a certain odor.
At any rate, do see a doctor. For obvious reasons, it is dangerous to drive until you have this problem checked out.
