ive been having many panic attacks at school lately. im missing too much school so i need to control them. im pretty sure they are caused by stress. i could be put on meds but i dont want to bc the doc said it would increase thoughts of suicide(ive never had any thoughts though)
here are my symptoms
headache
sensitivity to light
increased heart rate (when one comes)
sweating a lot under my arms
feelings of passing out
how can i control these from coming along? i feel like im going to die when i have one =/

So I’ve been having panic attacks since I was 15 but through out the years they have become less frequent. Lately I have been getting them frequently though and since I haven’t gotten one in a long time they catch me by surprise and I get scared and end up making the panic attack worst. What can I do to control them? At the moment I have a panic attack that is building up and I don’t want it to get worst because I begin to get scared of even leaving my house because I’m afraid of getting them somewhere else. Last night I had a panic attack and for about 2 hours after my heart was still beating rapidly and taking deep breaths were hard.
